CKIS Serum is formulated to help heal gums, wounds, eyelids, genitals and other areas. 

If used on the gums, treatment is best used in conjunction with oil pulling, mouthwashing,  tongue scraping and brushing with baking soda.  Since the upper teeth often enter the maxillary sinuses, using a sniffer can be an essential part of healing the skull. See /oral-care for more info.

Supplies

Q-tips
Tissue
Small dish with water

General Instructions (eyelid, wound, genitals, gums)

    1. Swirl/shake bottle of serum
    2. Insert Q-tip in dish of water to saturate, then blot with tissue. 
    3. Insert Q-tip into serum ONE TIME ONLY. Notice the color.
    4. Apply the Q-tip to area of concern, gently wiping. Apply until the color is mostly gone.
    5. Do not re-use a Q-tip in the bottle, use the other side, then a new one if needed.
    6. You can use the serum 2-4x/day for an active/acute problem, less frequent for maintenance (daily or 3-4 times per week).

Additional Instructions for use on gums

    1. Start by using oil-pull for 20 minutes and then mouthwash for 1-5 minutes to cleanse surfaces.
    2. Rub Q tip over gums circling the tooth at the gum line.
    3. Also push the Q-tip into the top/bottom of the gum in the crevice where the gum meets the lip, as well as the tonsils and back of throat (see Waldayers Ring).
    4. Do not put anything in your mouth for about 15-20 minutes.  If you are still feeling things happening after 20 minutes, you can rinse with water.
    5. You can use the gum serum 2x/day for an active/acute problem, less frequent for maintenance (daily or 3-4 times per week).

CKIS Serum ingredients: iodine, iodide, DMSO, hyaluronic acid, niacin, niacinamide, boron (as borax and boric acid), xylitol, honey, oils of black seed, cinnamon, clove,  eucalyptus, frankincense, neem, peppermint, rosemary, spearmint, tea tree, thyme and wintergreen, Very small amount of grain alcohol added as dispersant.

Oil Pulling

I developed this Enhanced Oil Pull (EOP) to contain the unstable conditions in my own mouth. Oil pulling is an ancient ayurvedic (Indian) technique. What is actually “pulls” is not clear, but there are many fat-based substances in the mouth that are potentially inflammatory.

While the internet often suggests using coconut oil, the traditional oil is sesame. For me, the coconut oil did not help but the sesame oil did almost immediately.  Sesame oil is used in conventional medicine due to its ability to contain oily substances such as progesterone. The enhanced oil pull formula has additional ingredients for improved anti-microbial and healing benefits.  It is possible that olive oil will work better for some situations, and can be tried with or without the sesame oils.

It is best used in conjunction with the mouthwash, tongue scraping and brushing with baking soda. Since the upper teeth often enter the maxillary sinuses, using a sniffer can be an essential part of healing the skull.

Directions for Oil Pulling (with raw organic sesame oil)

4 oz bottle has 12 doses = 3x/wk x 4 wks.

    1. Pour 2 tsp of Enhanced Oil into cup.
    2. Swish for 20 minutes total to allow “contact” with circulation.
      First 10-15 minutes, swish through teeth, etc
      Last 5-10 minutes, chew a bit to move teeth/ligaments
    3. Can be done in shower but do NOT spit down drain.
    4. Discard in trash or baggie, NOT sink or toilet.
    5. Start at three times/week, can increase to daily or twice a day if needed.

Oil Pull Enhancer Ingredients:  Raw organic sesame and olive oils, the essential oils of cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, frankincense, ginger, peppermint, rosemary, tea tree & wintergreen blended with borax, iodine, niacin, niacinamide, salt, vitamins C & E and xylitol.

OPE Concentrate Mixing Directions:  The kit comes with two bottles of Concentrate, A  (oil phase) and B (water phase) and a syringe with mixing needle. It makes six 4 oz bottles of EOP. In addition to the kit you will need 1) a clean 4 oz glass bottle and 2) raw organic sesame oil, found in the cooking aisles of most health-oriented food stores.

Mixing Directions

  1. Fill a clean 4 oz glass bottle with raw organic sesame oil, leaving room at top for 4 ml (a little less than a teaspoon) of the Enhancer.
  2. Fill syringe with air to 0.5 ml.
  3. Draw 1.5 ml Concentrate A (syringe to 2.0).
  4. Add to 4 oz raw organic sesame oil.
  5. Shake to integrate.
  6. Fill syringe with air to 0.5 ml
  7. Draw 2.5 ml Concentrate B (syringe to 3.0).
  8. Add to sesame oil mixture.
  9. Shake vigorously to integrate.
  10. Clean syringe by drawing and pushing out soapy water.
  11. Store concentrates in cool dark place or refrigerator.
  12. Use within 6-7 months.

Here is a comparison of the AREDS2 product, the AREDS2 Multi, and a variety of products which in combination are superior for eye protection.

For optimal eye health, start with a combination of OcuForce, Omega-3 oil and a multi, one pill each twice a day.  If you add ADK evail you will also be getting more Vitamin D, K, E and A at optimal levels. The omega-3 is not listed as it is separate, and never was in the AREDS formulas. Adding lithium and additional minerals can also be beneficial.

While the AREDS studies were equivocal about omega-3 oils, they aimed solely at macular degeneration and not at glaucoma, cataracts, corneal, retinal and general brain/neuro issues. The retina is technically a part of the brain that pushes through the skull to fuse with the anterior section of the eye during fetal development.  It is a “mini-brain” and therefore is subject to the same deficiencies and toxicities (including lead (Pb), mercury (Hg) and others) that affect the nervous system. There is growing data that glaucoma is a chemical issue, with the pressure being secondary and not necessary to see the classic peripheral retinal damage (click on link above for more info).

Also, I am concerned for the lack of real vitamin A, which is not the same as carotene, and has unquestioned role in eye health. Also the OcuForce has taurine and other unique agents which can contribute to optimal retinal health

Finally here is a printout from the NIH endorsing the AREDS product line.  Since there are better agents out there, there was probably some vested interests in the NIH implicitly endorsing one product!  Bausch and Lomb undoubtedly pays their lobbyists and salesmen well.
