Honey is a controvercial substance both for environmental (bees!) and health (sugar!) reasons. While it has high levels of fructose, it has bioflavenoids, and resists the growth of bacteria and fungus in the hive.
Paired with other agents, especially black seed oil, the benefits seem to outweigh the risks even potentially for cancer.
