Vitamin E is a family of fat-soluble vitamins, related to the other fat-soluble vitamin families including A, D and K.  They often co-exist in nature. 

There are well-established benefits and risks in taking various forms of vitamin E.  Not all forms are the same, and balance is a priority.

The inexpensive alpha-tocopherol is over-used in many supplements and can cause a relative deficiency of others such as gamma- and delta. 

In addition, derivatives called tocotrienols can provide several benefits. Patients and members will see more information below.
