Acetaminophen
Updated July 18, 2022
Acetaminophen, most commonly called by it’s brand name Tylenol, is a derivative of aspirin. It has anti-pain and anti-fever effects without the (negative) effects on the stomach and coagulation.
However, it still is toxic to the liver and kidneys, especially when taken in excess by the elderly or as an overdose.
It is reported (reference pending) that one dose of acetaminophen can block certain liver functions for up to three days.
