Neomycin

Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It is not absorbed by skin or gut and is therefore used on these surfaces. It was used back in the 1980’s to reduce cholesterol, probably by altering the ecology in the gut. It is currently used for skin infections and as a component of certain SIBO protcols.
