Leaky Gut Syndrome
Gut Program
Leaky Gut Syndrome is becoming a popular topic in the mainstream. It has been known about and utilized by holistic practitioners for almost 20 years. While it is helpful to treat leaky gut, the pitfall is that almost everyone these days has a certain degree of “leakiness” due to modern lifestyle. Antibiotics, certain vaccines, pesticides, and other toxins directly and indirectly (by changing gut ecology) cause leakiness. There is no direct or reliable way to measure leaky gut, other than by its clinical features, reviewed in the article (click on image).

Interstitial Cystitis
Interstitial Cystitis, ICS, is a tricky problem with the bladder lining that causes both chronic and acute discomfort. This discomfort can feel like burning, pressure, sharp pains, urgency, spasms, and other symptoms of various patterns. If a bladder endoscopy is done, sometimes the bladder lining has visible abnormalities but often it does not. Because of its location and intimacy with tissues that are close by, ICS can be associated with Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions, Irritible Bowel Syndromes (IBS) and symptoms affecting the rectum anus, genitalia and skin.
The conventional approach often includes courses of antibiotics and less frequently anti-fungals. Holisitic approaches look for root causes that can include toxins, foods, allergies, stealth infections, hormones and bio-energetic factors.
