This article looks at agents that can work with micronidazole (a common anti-fungal unsed for vaginal and other over-the-counter remedies. It suggests that statins, which block sterol synthesis (cholesterol) might add another layer of attack on yeast/candida.  However, we have to make sure that this is not toxic for the liver.
