Eurycoma longiforlia, also called Longjack and Tongkat Ali is a preparation of a root, usually a water extract. It has horrible taste but some very favorable articles and testimonies. It probably is best to trial it separately from other agents, but many companies combine it with other agents for their trademarked product.

Fatigue can and often occurs in episodes. This experience, while highly disrputive, can be spun to promote healing, as triggers are identified.
This article on the Kleine-Levin syndrome and its response to lithium provides some insight into the role of this important mineral, and implicitly others, in the generation of consistent energy.
